Eco Garden Tour

On this slow walk through the Eco garden, our guide assists participants to identify and recognise different seasonal vegetables and herbs, using all five senses. Participants also learn how the growing of crops and ecological conservation can coexist sustainably and in harmony.

Make your own pot workshop

Small spaces can also be used to grow food! Through the workshop, participants can understand the value of urban farming and prepare their own pot. Planting tips and experience will also be shared.

Apiary Tour

“Buzz Buzz Buzz…”Let’s look closely at the little honeybees and learn about their behaviours, how they produce honey and their importance in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Protecting honeybees is also one way to protect the nature.

Rescue Centre Tour
Date: November 29 and 30, 2025
The Wild Animal Rescue Centre (WARC) of KFBG has been a sanctuary for injured, orphaned and sick wild animals, as well as a home for victims of the illegal wildlife trade (IWT). Our wildlife rescue efforts encompass a wide diversity of species in need of help, including mammals such as bats, leopard cats and squirrels.
Each year, we care for some 4,500 animals, that arrive for rescue and through our rehabilitation programmes and facilities, we strive to nurture native animals back to health and return them to their natural habitats, including repatriation of exotic species.

Animal Encounters

Plant Encounter

Plant Encounters sessions will run twice daily on 29th and 30th November during the Nature Treasure Hunt 2025, allowing visitors to explore the ecology and horticulture of KFBG’s gardens in the company of a botanist.

Wildlife Adventure Eco-Tour for Beginners

Do you know KFBG is one of Hong Kong’s biodiversity hotspots? Here, you have the chance to see about 80% of the butterflies and amphibians, half of the reptiles, and one third of the bird species found throughout Hong Kong.
Join us for a guided walk through our lower farm area, led by our butterfly expert and experienced conservationist. Together, let's explore and learn about the diverse wildlife that calls this place home!
